ASUCCAR is Tony Succar's most personal album yet — a musical self-portrait from the Grammy-winning producer, percussionist, and bandleader. Released the year he turns 40, his fourth studio album is a return to the sound that made his name: an uncompromising fusion of salsa, Latin jazz, soul, R&B, pop, flamenco, and Peruvian and Japanese influences.

The title says it all — "A" for Antonio + Succar, a play on "Azúcar," the most iconic cry in Latin music and the album's centerpiece: an original tribute to Celia Cruz on the centennial of her birth, featuring Mimy Succar, Arturo Sandoval, Kenyi Succar, and Celia's own voice.

Across 13 tracks, Tony brings together a once-in-a-generation lineup: Gilberto Santa Rosa, Luis Enrique, Isabela Merced, Arturo Sandoval, Jean Rodríguez, Noel Schajris, Mimy Succar, Amy Gutiérrez, Nella, Pitingo, Kenyi Succar, and YX.
